This is a composite of three images:  The girls (from an Indian celebration in California), the ocean and rock formation (from the south coast of Australia - the rock is called "London Bridge" and is MUCH larger than it would seem here), and the foreground rocks (from a California beach).  All were shot with the Olympus OM-4 in 1996 and '97.

My intent was simply to create a sense of confusion over the scale of things.  I toyed with the idea of adding a miniature cruise ship in front of the bridge.
