You might recognize the source image here as being the same as "Sketch #2."  This was an earlier attempt that adds the image of rocks.  My goal was to make the subject appear to be made from a pile of rocks, with only the color and shading to suggest the original form.  It didn't really achieve that goal, but it does make for an interesting abstraction of the subject.
