The Great Orion Nebula & Running Man Nebula

The Orion Nebula has been my favorite subject for astro-photography and getting a good image of it was my first goal since the beginning.  After learning all the techniques and solving the technical problems, the main impediment to getting this image was that Orion is not visible in the summer months in my area.  Winter here is too cold and wet to be staying out for long, so the only way to do it is to stay up through most of a late summer night.  I finished this capture around 4AM.
