The Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport has a lot of interesting wildlife to see, but like most such facilities, you will be disappointed with most photos unless you frame it tightly like this because there is usually something in the background that destroys the sense of a natural scene.  This puffin was a great subject, holding poses like this long enough for manual focus adjustment.
