When I first got the Olympus C-3000 I sat down and read the manual in my living room with camera in hand, checking out features as I read about them.  This rock and shell arrangement were on the coffee table right in front of me, so it became my first subject by default.  This shot made a favorable impression on me and I have shot very little film since then.
