On both the 2000 and 2003 trips we rented a house overlooking the beach and this shot is from the deck of that house.  The dynamic range in the original transparency is so large that it is really unusable directly.  But I scanned it twice with different exposures and merged the two images at the horizon.  In a large print you can see some boats just below the horizon.
